A challenging week working with Afro hair. I'm actually getting the hang of it and starting to quite enjoy knotting with it!
Outwork for a London company. These two were factory made wigs which needed the fronts adjusting to fit the actors who are going to wear them. I had to bring the hairline forward and fill in some of the areas which were quite sparse.
The first wig front is knotted with a soft Afro hair and the second with really tight Afro hair, a real challenge for the first time!
After months of preparation and back knotting, I thoroughly enjoyed my one to one week with Katie at Katie's wigs who has given me the knowledge and skills I need to be a top notch wigmaker! Couldn't have asked for better training! Feeling confident!
Just three sections until I complete the back of this wig! Than I can send it to my teacher for review. Hopefully I will get as good feedback as I did for the last one!
I've just completed my Barbering training which included the amazing zero fade, traditional cutting with all sorts of techniques, cut throat razoring and beard trimming. Really enjoyed every minute of it.
Miranda is still loving her locks! I've blended the hair a bit more for her this time. Very pleased with how she has looked after them over the last month.
The first part of my wig before it went for review. Apparently it is of film quality! I'm very happy with that!! Best review I could have hoped for.
Miranda feeling happy with her new Racoon Luxe bond hair extensions I did for her at Racoon headquaters Warwickshire.
